District Employer Information:
The Local Tax Enabling Act (Act 511) requires every employer having a factory, workshop, branch, warehouse or other place of business within PENNCREST School District to register with the Wage Tax Office. All employers are mandated by law to deduct the earned income tax from their employees whenever an ordinance or resolution of a taxing jurisdiction is listed in the Earned Income Tax Register of the Department of Community Affairs. All municipalities within PENNCREST School District are registered with the Department of Community Affairs. A listing of all municipalities and their tax rate can be found on the departments website (www.inventpa.com).
The employers of the district must submit all Earned Income Tax withheld to the tax office on a quarterly basis. Any employer needing a copy of the quarterly tax form can contact the Wage Tax Office or print a copy of the form from this website. At the end of every calendar tax year, the employer must submit the last quarter of Earned Income Tax withheld, a copy of each Form W-2 showing total tax withheld for that employee and a year-end PENNCREST Wage tax Form. Any employer needing a copy of the year-end form can contact the Wage Tax Office or print a copy of the form from this website. |
